Data Records 93

April 4, 2013

Data Records 93, located in between two of Florence’s main tourist attractions, Piazza della Signoria and Santa Croce, is one of the biggest record stores in town and provides loads of Indie, Progressive Rock and Jazz records, new releases as well as second hand. In the lovely designed rooms (pictures!), garnished with memorabilia as old radios, paintings, posters and wine bottles you can find a lot of interesting records covering nearly all genres from e.g. Isis, Swans, Robert Wyatt to rare Italian progressive rock. Even rare exotic artists as Debile Menthol can be found in the bulk of more standard records. The condition of the records is great and most of them meet the collector’s ideas. The staff is very friendly and helping with its overview may find all the titles available in a second.

The prices are mostly matching the usual market prices meaning that it’s hard to find real bargains there but well, rare items are hard to find and the motto “all the rare records you think you’d lost” kind of says it all.

Their website, including a mailorder, is www.superecords.com and the address is

Via dei Neri, 15
50122 Firenze (Italy)
Tel.: +39 055 287592
